The promise of planting the tree together is a beautiful intangible gift that is valued. Love Forest Finland concept was originally conceived to replace love locks in bridge railings.
You can buy the tree now or you can buy a tree seedling later when the ground is thawed and planting is possible.
- Buy a tree seedling from a garden store, prefer domestic seedlings.
- If you buy a tree seedling now to wait for summer, plant the tree in a pot, store it outside, but protected from direct rain or snow
- Plant the tree together when the ground is thawed in your own yard, in the forest or in another place subject to permission
- We also organize joint tree planting events where you can plant a tree. Follow the announcement on the FB page, Instagram and our website.
- Buy hereby the certificate that records the story of the Love Tree and a promise of a joint forest trip
- You will receive a printed Love Forest Finland certificate with the information you have provided.
- The tree planting location will be added to the Love Forest Finland map and will be shared on the Love Forest Finland social media sites if desired
By planting a tree of love, submitting the information and paying for the certificate, you join the Love Forest Finland community and help protect nature. For every paid certificate, we donate €10 to the Natural Heritage Foundation.
The certificate can be printed in Finnish, Swedish, English, Spanish or German. Write the story in the language of your choice. The certificates are printed on paper made by hand in Finnish Lapland.
